Professor Jurgen Kuczynski
Article Abstract:
Jurgen Kuczynski was an historian who was both a colonel in the US army air force and passed on information to Societ intelligence. He came to be critical of Stalinism in later years, but initially saw the Soviet Union as representing progress in the late 1940s. He was an economic history professor at Humboldt University and was the head the the League of Culture in the East German parliament. Almost 4,000 titles have been attributed to Kuczynski.

Emilie Schindler
Article Abstract:
Emilie Pelzl was born in Alt Moletein, Austro-Hungarian Empire, in 1907. She married Oskar Schindler in 1928, and helped him to rescue around 1,700 Jews from the Nazis during the final years of the second world war.

Hannelore Kohl

Interpreter Hannelore Kohl was born in Berlin, Germany, in 1933. She trained as an interpreter in English and French, and in 1960 married future Chancellor Helmut Kohl.
