Simon Dwyer
Article Abstract:
Simon Dwyer was a writer who set up a magazine called Rapid Eye . He left school at the age of 16-years-old and became involved in the punk movement. Rapid Eye was first launched in 1979, and Dwyer also contributed to Sounds, a music journal, on a regular basis. Rapid Eye 1 was launched in 1989 and included contributions from William Burroughs and Andy Warhol. Dwyer also wrote 'Plague Yard: Altered States of America' which at 100,000 words long could have been released as a book, and which was published in Rapid Eye 2.
