The power of Scotland
Article Abstract:
A new cultural climate is emerging in Edinburgh, Scotland, which until recently was overshadowed by Glasgow, Scotland. There are now a considerable number of attractive cafes and restaurants in Edinburgh, as well as shops selling latest fashions. The new Scottish parliament is already having an impact on the city centre, as is the new National Museum of Scotland. Those who have traditionally held political power in Scotland are now being overshadowed by new people moving into positions of prominence.
