Mystery gives way to money
Article Abstract:
The ability to calculate when an eclipse will happen is now accessible to everybody, and therefore can no longer be exploited by an elite. However, it is still possible for some people to profit financially from eclipses. The eclipse due to take place on Aug 11, 1999, will be particularly profitable because it will take place during the holiday season in a highly populated part of the world. This eclipse will be artificially prolonged and repeated many times on television.

EU: ECB WARNING OVER INFLATION
Article Abstract:
The European Central Bank (ECB) warned on 17 April 2000 that inflation might increase if the weakness of the single European currency continued. The ECB's vice president, Christian Noyer, said that the decline of the currency would place pressure on price stability as well as import prices. The euro increased to 95.70 cents against the US dollar on 17 April but is still around 15 cents down on the value at its inception.
