Thank God for the gays
Article Abstract:
There have been mixed reactions to the forthcoming service in Southwark's Anglican cathedral to mark the 20th anniversary of the UK's Lesbian and Gay Christian Movement. Dr George Carey, the Archbishop of Canterbury, has been careful to emphasis that the Church of England is not changing its stance on homosexuality by allowing the service to take place. Some observers feel that it is now time for the Church of England to take a new approach, accepting homosexuals as sinners, just like everyone else, and allowing itself to learn from them.

A new Pinter play. So what?
Article Abstract:
Some observers believe that Harold Pinter is an excellent playwright who shows great command of language and character. He has become particularly popular over recent years, when he has written fewer new plays. His plays are respected because they require the audience to use their imagination, as they contain little naturalistic background and detail. However, a few people are now expressing doubts about his work, pointing out that it can be inconsistent and ambivalent.
