Mao and Deng are dead, long live shopping
Article Abstract:
There is a great deal of wealth in Hong Kong, especially among people whose parents or grandparents chose to escape from the Communists in China. These people have often benefited from being educated in the UK or the US, and are now lead very ostentatious lifestyles. They are very confident about the future of Hong Kong, but have taken the precaution of purchasing property outside China.
