From oblivion to Bournemouth: Bob Dylan's never-ending tour
Article Abstract:
Singer Bob Dylan is set to return to public attention with the release of 'Time Out of Mind,' a album of new songs, and a tour of the UK. This follows a period from the second half of the 1980s during which Dylan deliberately faded into obscurity, rejecting the new commercial pressures of the rock music world. In 1988 he embarked on a tour which has still not come to an end, and seemed to show no concern for consistency. His performances were very variable in quality, and he placed his voice under great strain. However, he now seems to be finding new inspiration and direction.

He could have been a contender
Article Abstract:
Actor Sylvester Stallone was very successful in the 1976 film 'Rocky,' but since then has never appeared in any role that really matched his ability. His career has largely been a failure, but he has still managed to become the most highly paid actor in Hollywood history. The main problem has been that ordinary people only really want him as Rocky, not as a star in his own right. The failure of the 1990 film 'Rocky V' seems to have been a particularly low point in his career, with his 1990s films not really making any sense.
