I'm fed up with this myth of superiority spouted by the Scots
Article Abstract:
Some Scots seem to believe that they are superior to the English and that Scotland would benefit from becoming independent from the rest of the UK. Scottish nationalists in particular are keen to portray Scotland as having modernizing, progressive tendencies that are being restricted by the English. In fact, Scots are guilty of misrepresenting the English and of too easily believing myths about Scotland. The new Scottish elite should take time to really consider the facts behind Scottish and English history.

No room for children in the House
Article Abstract:
The House of Commons currently has no childcare facilities, but many MPs are now keen to instigate a debate on this subject. While they may not require childcare facilities themselves, they are increasingly aware that other House of Commons employees may do so. Furthermore, they feel that the House of Commons should set an example to other employers. It is also possible that the House of Commons will set up some form of drop-in facility or holiday childcare scheme.
