The double life of Mrs B
Article Abstract:
Cherie Booth, wife of UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, almost seems to be two completely different people. When appearing in public as Blair's wife, she is quiet and supportive. In contrast, while pursuing her career as a barrister she shows eloquence and determination. She is the first wife of a UK Prime Minister who has been able to maintain a demanding career while also fulfilling all the duties expected of her because of her husband's position. Some observers believe that it is now time to let her voice her opinions as Blair's wife as well as in her role as a barrister.

Chezza and Hill: the first wives' club
Article Abstract:
There has been considerable media speculation about why Cherie Blair, wife of UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, chose to accompany her husband to the G7 summit in Denver, CO. She seems to be very at ease with her dual role as the wife of the UK's leading politician and a successful lawyer in her own right. She successfully survived extensive media scrutiny during the election campaign, and is now taking the opportunity to enjoy her new position. Unlike Hillary Clinton, she is not expected to be merely a politician's wife all the time.
