The greatest album ever made (and all the out-takes)
Article Abstract:
EMI Records is shortly to release 'The Pet Sounds Sessions,' four CDs which contain two complete versions of the Beach Boys' 1966 album 'Pet Sounds,' along with an instrumental album and a cappella vocal album. There are also many alternative mixes and out-takes. The instrumental mixes are fascinating, and the vocal arrangements are presented in such a way that it is easy to imagine the Beach Boys working in the studio. 'Pet Sounds' is probably the best album ever produced by the Beach Boys, and is still widely admired.

What next for the chairmen of the bored?
Article Abstract:
Modern rock stars are not expected to show any intellectual abilities or to be interested in many different subjects. This means that they can often become very bored with their lifestyle. Even for rock stars who are intelligent, boredom can eventually become a problem. Some have chosen to retreat into a rural way of life, while others have developed a career in the media or films. This is the case with Mike Nesmith, formerly of The Monkees.
