Erotic fantasy from the heart of the stones
Article Abstract:
English stone sculpture from the period 1907 to 1937 is being displayed at Kettle's Yard in Cambridge, England, in an exhibition entitled 'Carving Mountains.' This exhibition covers work from both the first and second generation of carvers. The works are all small, and some of them are extremely small. However, they very effectively give an insight into the sculpting process. Exhibits include Epstein's 'Female Figure' and Gaudier's 'The Imp.'

Staring death in the face
Article Abstract:
The exhibition entitled 'The Dead' currently being staged at the National Museum of Photography, Film and Television in Bradford, UK, covers the work of 28 photographers from across the world. It looks directly at dead people, rather than at other issues relating to death, such as disease, murder and violence. In many cases, the person shown in the photograph almost seems to be alive.
