Nothing to fear from techno-corn
Article Abstract:
Some commentators have predicted that genetic engineering will bring disastrous consequences, possibly even causing many deaths. However, ordinary people remain generally rather apathetic about genetic engineering, and will eventually accept that this technique is indispensable and brings considerable benefits. Society is generally successful in handling new technologies, and will be able to reject genetic engineering if it proves to bring disadvantages.

Five go wild in the Indian Ocean
Article Abstract:
Visitors to Pemba, Zanzibar's second island, must not expect modern tourist facilities. However, the island has a range of natural attractions. Visitors can see Ngezi Forest, the only real rainforest left on either of Zanzibar's two main islands, and can also enjoy Vumawimbi beach, where there is white sand, along with pine trees and coconut palms. The island's roads, which are flanked by mango trees, are mainly undeveloped.
