UK: CARPHONE OFFER ALREADY OVERSUBSCRIBED
Article Abstract:
Although not disclosing further details, Carphone Warehouse, the mobile phone retailer, has said that its GB[pound] 1.6bn flotation, due to occur on 14 July, 2000 is "healthily oversubscribed". Industry analysts predict demand is not likely to exceed shares by more than a factor of five at the most. Carphone has said it will give preference to those investors who pledge to retain the shares for at least three months after the flotation.
