What does the future hold?
Article Abstract:
It is vital that UK companies create a culture which allows the development of the skills and talents of their female employees, as women will account for more than half of the workforce by the early 21st century. There are now many women in middle-ranking management positions, and they will be the business leaders of the future. They have many qualifications and skills, and will not be prepared to stay with an employer which does not allow them to further their career. Possible steps for the future include giving publicity to female role models and offering wider career opportunities.
