What's in the Dome? A solution to the Mandelson problem, maybe
Article Abstract:
UK Minister without Portfolio Peter Mandelson has become very closely associated with the Millennium Dome project. There are a number of possible explanations for this. One is that he could have become caught up in the vision that often surrounds a large project of this kind. Another is that the project has the potential to further his career in politics if it is successful. Some observers believe that Prime Minister Tony Blair has deliberately made Mandelson responsible for this project in order to deflect any possible criticism of it from himself.
