Craig and Scott Fisher, aged 14 and 12 respectively live with their father, Glyn, and his male lover, Richard Carrington, and spend weekends with their mother and her boyfriend. The boys were emotional when informed that their father was homosexual but accepted the situation, and the domestic arrangements are working well. Richard does not try to be a parent to the boys or interfere in their lives, but he cares for them and believes that they have enhanced his life.
