Having a very successful career is often just a matter of luck, according to Anna Wintour, editor of American Vogue. She believes that working in publishing is not particularly glamorous, but she does find her job exciting. She likes to be involved with all aspects of producing the magazine, and finds that her staff work better if she makes an effort to communicate directly with them. She is very loyal to her employees, and expects them to be loyal to her in return.
