Why gap years are good for business
Article Abstract:
UK companies can derive considerable benefits from employing people who have taken a year off between school and university to travel. Employees who have not had this experience may find later in their career that they have unfulfilled ambitions, and may become bitter and restless, a state of mind that does not benefit employers. Some companies are recognizing this problem, and are responding by implementing career break policies. Junior employees who have spent a year travelling can also be of benefit because they tend to be more well-rounded than those who have not.

Clash of legality and morality
Article Abstract:
A number of legal dramas shown recently on television have been praised for their sense of realism, having been the result of extensive research and consultation with solicitors' firms. Researchers found that legality and morality do not necessarily coincide, and that there is a lot to be learnt from the legal profession. The Society of Black Lawyers has particularly welcomed the fact that black lawyers are starting to be portrayed on television.
