Why this year is a fallow time for deer
Article Abstract:
The price of venison in the UK has fluctuated wildly over recent years. There was a dramatic increase in the price of venison in 1996 as many consumers abandoned beef, and this in turn prompted an increase in poaching. Price fluctuations are not only caused by outside factors. The domestic venison market has never been properly developed, and around 60% of venison output still goes abroad, particularly to Germany. There is no central marketing organization, and problems arise because small individual sellers refuse to cooperate with each other.

How green was my mountain - or soon will be
Article Abstract:
Green Mountain Farm in Ascension Island is between 10,000 acres and 20,000 acres large, according to David Henry, who has taken a 10-year lease on the property. However, there is only a very small area that is relatively flat, and only around 50 acres have the potential to be used for market gardening. The property has suffered environmental damage in the past, but has the potential to be successful in the future. Rainfall in the region is rising, and there is an overgrown coffee plantation that can be revived.

Go to hell? You live in it
Article Abstract:
Many country dwellers find that cities smell extremely unpleasant, as they are polluted with traffic fumes and people live and work in very cramped conditions. The countryside has smells too, but at least these change with the seasons, and the air is never stale as it is in the city. There are plenty of attractions in the country as well as in the city, and life tends to be much safer in the country than in the city.
