Bebe Moore Campbell's novel 'Brothers and Sisters' deals with all the most difficult issues relating to racial identity. It has been extremely successful in the US, and is also relevant in the UK even though it is based on the culture of LA. It looks directly at the problem of affirmative action, and presents an optimistic future for minority groups.
