You're on the way up. Just don't have children
Article Abstract:
There has been an expansion of the female workforce in the UK, and it is becoming more common for women to earn more than their male colleagues. However, having children can still have a negative impact on a woman's career progression, especially if she lacks qualifications. Some women are deciding against having children because they fear the impact on their career, while others have children but marginalize their families. It is now time to make significant changes to working patterns, with companies making a large contribution to childcare costs and more fathers making career compromises to share the responsibility of childcare.

Everything must go
Article Abstract:
The UK's MPs and government ministers are currently moving out of their offices at the House of Commons in preparation for the general election. Where networking is child's play
Article Abstract:
It is becoming increasingly common for women in the UK who have given up a promising career to have children to make new business contacts through other mothers they meet through their children. Taking a career break to have children can give women the opportunity to consider new directions. Everyone who is looking to set up a home-based business is aware of the importance of networking, but experts believe that women are better at this than men.
