Carbon dioxide emissions
Article Abstract:
Global warming due to carbon dioxide emissions is still a threat although scientists disagree on how big a problem it really is. During the 1992 United Nations Conference on Environment and Development over 100 countries pledged to reduce the amount of emissions produced.

Amphibians at risk
Article Abstract:
Amphibians in the US are dying at record rates that some scientists are worried that major environmental changes due to human activity may be the cause. Some scientists however, speculate that the high levels of risk for amphibians may just be a natural occurrence.
