Decoding schizophrenia
Article Abstract:
Schizophrenia is caused due to the malfunctioning of particular brain systems, which are responsible for the communication of brain cells using a signaling chemical, or neurotransmitter called dopamine. Many studies revealed that abnormal signaling of another neurotransmitter called glutamate is responsible for the disorder.
