Desert rats

Environmental researchers recently revealed that Ord's kangaroo rats that are native to Canada have better survival chances compared to those which thrive in the US. These rodents are capable of extracting moisture from their food, making them adaptive to desert conditions.

Grizzly bears will disappear when the wilderness does. This once flourishing species persists only in remote areas of central Europe and Russia. It has but disappeared south of the Canadian border and persists only in a few areas in the US.
