Article Abstract:
A research was conducted by London British School to determine the impact of product development and design on the UK industry and to the growth of the British economy. A comprehensive survey of the design activity within UK manufacturing industry was used. Results showed that the British industry spends 10 billion pounds annually on product development and design. In doing so, manufacturing companies and the UK economy benefit from product development and design when manufacturers spend more on them.

The Motor Cycle Industry Association has predicted that the British motorcycle industry will be performing impressively in 1997. This can be beneficial for motorcycle manufacturers, designers and consultants. Motorcycle designer and founder of Renfrew Stylengineering Bruce Renfrew has introduced a number of motorcycle designs and motorcycle apparels which can be used during winter season, and provides carrying convenience, flexibility and safety feature.
