Labor migration policy and the governance of the construction industry in Israel and Japan
Article Abstract:
The variation in extent of use of unskilled foreign labor in advanced capitalist countries is examined, drawing on the contrasting experiences of Israel and Japan. The different trajectories of both the countries concerning foreign labor policy can be explained by the difference in state structures with respect to economic governance.
