The CRDM was established in 1995 to develop new design, prototyping and tooling technologies for the tool industry. The organisation's customers range from large multinational companies to small business employing very few people. Nestle's Time Capsule confectionery container is a typical example of CRDM's design and development activities. A prototype block model was transformed into a 3D CAD model by CRDM.
