Soap Films Reveal Whirling Worlds of Turbulence
Article Abstract:
Two-dimensional turbulence is being studying by using soap film tunnels. Roiling, two-dimensional patterns with whorls are created when moving liquids or gases are confined to curved or flat surfaces.Cylones are an example of this type atmosphere.
