European environmental groups press for court representation
Article Abstract:
Eight European environmental groups are trying to win access for themselves and other public interest organizations to the European Court of Justice. Their first goal is to convince the new president of the European Union to include the issue in upcoming negotiations for the European Treaty of 2000.
