Article Abstract:
Enforcement of the Delaney Clause of the Federal Food Drug and Cosmetic Act would not benefit public health. The clause, which bans food additives that have been shown to cause cancer in animals or humans, could have a variety of negative effects such as increased fruit and vegetable prices.

Nuclear power in East Asia

Eastern Asia has been overtaking the US in nuclear technology since the US stopped commissioning new nuclear reactors around 1986. Driven by growing economies and electricity demand, South Korea in particular is taking a lead in advanced, efficient and standardized nuclear power plants.
