Pot luck: Linear A, an ancient script, is unearthed in Turkey
Article Abstract:
The writing on clay tablets found in 1900 by archeologist Sir Arthur J. Evans on the island of Crete has been linked to the Minoans, people who lived 36 centuries ago. Analysis of pottery recovered from mainland Turkey indicates that it was made locally in Miletus, probably by a colony of Minoans.

Researchers at Humboldt State University's Shatz Energy Research Center are converting electric-powered golf carts to fuel-cell power. Because of the low fuel costs required by the vehicles, residents are using the carts not only in golf courses, but also in public roads.
