Protein Interaction Methods--Toward an Endgame
Article Abstract:
Newer methods of identifying protein-protein interactions are moving researchers closer to the goal of following interaction networks in real time. These methods include modified two-hybrid systems, other reconstitution methods, fluorescence resonance energy transfer, protein mass spectrometry and evanescent wave techniques .

Hole-istic Medicine
Article Abstract:
The virus f1 is able to penetrate bacteria cells and then instruct the cells to produce more viruses. The reasons why f1 is able to do this may have to do with a phage-encoded protein, pIV, that changes the outer bacterial membrane to export phage from the host bacterium.
