Park wardens in Canada are using aversion therapy on the animals to keep wildlife separate from human beings. Habitat loss is forcing wildlife into Canada's national parks, prompting wardens to shoot rubber bullets and resort to other aversion techniques when animals get to close to highways or people.

The abundant wildlife thriving at Waterton Lakes National Park is a testament to the success of cooperative efforts between conservationists and ranchers to preserve Canada's prairie ecosystem. Ironically, its wildlife abundance is assured only by the continued existence of the ranches surrounding it.
