Sky-high findings drop new hints of greenhouse warming
Article Abstract:
A new study headed by Benjamin Santer seems to support earlier findings from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. The Santer study found evidence of higher temperatures in the troposphere and cooler ones in the stratosphere, as computer models had predicted.

Darker clouds promise brighter future for climate models
Article Abstract:
Research indicates that clouds absorb a significant part of the sunlight that passes through them as well as reflecting some radiation back into outer space. This discovery will help researchers to develop better climate models for greenhouse simulations.

Sun's role in warming is discounted
Article Abstract:
Research on climate records found little evidence that variations in the sun's brightness are related to global warming trends. David Thomson's statistical analyses of temperature records suggests that greenhouse gases cause warming.
