Structure of linkage disequilibrium in plants
Article Abstract:
An analysis of the basic properties of Linkage Disequilibrium (LD), variation in LD among species, and the application of LD in the dissection of quantitative traits is given. The patterns of LD are influenced by the mating system of the species, and phenomena such as population structure and recombination hot spots.

Phospholipid-based signaling in plants
Article Abstract:
The latest developments in phospholipid-based signaling are discussed. In addition, the lipid kinases and phospholipases that are activated, the signals they produce, the domains that bind them, the downstream targets that contain them and the processes they control are also described.

Molecular mechanisms and regulation of K(super +1) transport in higher plants
Article Abstract:
The main families of plant K(super +1) transport systems are described, along with molecular data describing the ways in which the systems are regulated. In addition, a few physiological questions on which molecular studies have shed new light are discussed.
