The Greenland Ice Core Project
Article Abstract:
European and American-led projects each drilled cores in the Greenland ice sheet that provided isotopic evidence of prehistoric climates. Preliminary results agreed with earlier studies that identified two sudden climatic changes, in contradiction with climatological models.

The GISP ice core record of volcanism since 7000 B.C
Article Abstract:
A report correlating prehistoric volcanic eruptions calculated from Greenland ice-core evidence with other climatic events is criticized for not first correcting known Carbon-14 dates of known eruptions to calendar years. A reply includes a revised table of dates.
