Technological partnering and investment in Europe: the case of advanced electronic technologies in Canada
Article Abstract:
The Canadian government learned several important lessons from its Investment Prospecting Program (IPP) to attract investments by European electronics firms. The program, which evolved into a difficult and complex process, involved the production and marketing of 'Prospecting Kits' featuring Canadian firms interested in strategic alliances. Altogether, it resulted in 78 interested parties.

The role of knowledge management in R&D: A survey of Danish R&D leaders' perceptions and beliefs
Article Abstract:
The perceptions and beliefs of Danish R&D managers are investigated by asking a sample of them to rate the importance of issues connected to current management development. It is concluded that Danish research managers are very much concerned with managing knowledge and its underlying social processes, rather than merely the management of the generation of knowledge.
