Water, water everywhere: ice found on the moon

Latest findings of a robot probe called Lunar Prospector revealed that frozen stocks of water can be found in the north and south pole regions of the moon. The conclusion was made after the probe's relevant instrument detected the existence of hydrogen, a key element of water.

Seismologists are puzzled with the regularity of the seismic vibrations produced by volcanoes. Seismic recordings have shown that such vibrations contain a series of evenly spaced harmonic frequencies similar to musical recordings.
