Time
Article Abstract:
An argument is presented that the relationship to time is at the root of what makes one human, and that culture arises with and from efforts to transcend death, change and the rhythmicity of the physical environment. It historically locates temporal relations, thereby providing a new understanding of socio-cultural relations and a perspective on social change.

Culture alive
Article Abstract:
Culture is a package of largely unacknowledged, ever-changing assumptions, loosely held by a loosely outlined group of people, mapping negotiations between the sacred and the profane, and the relationship between the sexes. Cultural information should be received proactively, as always open-ended, always susceptible to a changed understanding.
