Why businessmen should be honest: the argument from rational egoism
Article Abstract:
The issue of honesty among businessmen is addressed. The analysis strives to tackle three aspects of honesty: the accepted main moral codes down the centuries and how they view honesty; their inadequacy and a rational moral code; and their application to businessmen being honest. Ayn Rand's theory of rational egoism states that honesty is a virtue on which man's life should be based to live successfully. Businessmen should not be dishonest since this would mean undermining the facts to deceive other people, and thus, abandon moral virtues.

The micro-analysis of job satisfaction: comments on Taber and Alliger
Article Abstract:
Taber and Alliger's (1995) model posits that satisfaction with job components is linked to overall job satisfaction. Thus, if people like the individual tasks that make up a job, then they are likely to enjoy performing the job itself. A micro-analysis of the job satisfaction process that divides it into seven interrelated sub-processes is presented to provide support for Taber and Alliger's assessment model.

Why emotional intelligence is an invalid concept
Article Abstract:
The theory of emotional intelligence as a valid concept is criticized due to its myriad definitions making it such a broad concept that it loses its relevance. It is also considered as inadequate to explain the process of effective leadership. Alternative construct of introspective skill is proposed as a more reliable concept.
