Securing Lebanon from the threat of salafist jihadism
Article Abstract:
The causes of Al Qaeda associated salafist jihadism in Lebanon and possible threat they poses for Lebanon is highlighted. Lebanon military and security institutions should deny Al Qaeda shelter in the country and should negotiate with Syria to tackle such threat.

Creating the ideology of Al Qaeda: from hypocrites to Salafi-Jihadists

The article examines the ideology of Al Qaeda by looking at different rationales that have been applied to understand their thinking. Wahabbis and Salafi-Jehadists, two among various perspectives used to describe Al Qaeda are rather short-sighted.
