Asset management: a public housing perspective
Article Abstract:
The author argues that creating an asset management focus for local housing authorities (LHAs) would be detrimental to their efficiency. Since LHAs lack the power to control financial operations and revenue, they are ill suited to implement strategies for rectifying budget shortfalls between operating expenses and collected revenues.
