Comparison of smoking relapse curves among African-American smokers
Article Abstract:
The smoking relapse curves for African-American smokers is examined by level of smoking to characterize nicotine dependence in the population of smokers. This analysis was conducted from data originally collected to study differences in level of smoking among African-Americans at an inner-city health center in Midwest.

Do alcohol expectancies moderate the relationship between parental alcoholism and adult drinking behaviors?
Article Abstract:
The alcohol inclination or expectancies amongst offspring who have had a history of either parents being alcoholic with gender specifications are examined. The male offspring of parents who have had an alcoholic background are at a greater risk of inheriting the same alcoholism in them.
