Editorial: children with sexual behavior problems
Article Abstract:
A study by Alison Gray, et al on the characteristics of children who have sexual behavior problems, as well as those of their caregivers, suggests that treatment programs must address the multiple problems and educational difficulties that confront the children and their families. Even practitioners are confronted with challenges when studying cases of children with sexual behavior problems. The study thus recommends that assessments of, and interventions for, children with sexual behavior problems must be made more broad based to include not only legal responses to child protection and safety but the adequate therapeutical approach for both the children and their families as well.

Editorial: gradual disclosure by sexual assault victims - a sacred cow?
Article Abstract:
April R. Bradley and James M. Wood's study on how victims of child sexual abuse tell their ordeals confronts some widely established views. One of these is that accounts of child sexual abuse are revealed through the course of time. Very few victims tell of their ordeals at one time since most are reluctant plus there is the struggle to overcome fear. Their study is important because the concept of the gradual telling by victims of their ordeals has been widely accepted by professionals who are dealing with the victims.

What do children know about religion and satanism?
Article Abstract:
Research reveals that children's knowledge of satanism and its concomitant concepts of ritual practice and abuse grows as they mature. Exposure to the subjects through various media, religious education and family play critical roles in increasing children's knowledge of satanism. Researchers dealing with the subjects of child sexual abuse as it relates to satanism are advised to know the distinctions between satanic and nonsatanic practices in order to weed out false accounts.
