Patterns and correlates of Gamblers Anonymous attendance in pathological gamblers seeking profession treatment
Article Abstract:
This article examines pathological gamblers who attend Gamblers Anonymous but still seek professional treatment. The authors maintain there is a difference between Gamblers Anonymous attendees who receive professional treatment than attendees who do not, such as longer years of gambling, lower levels of substance abuse, larger amount of debt, and severe of family problems.

Empirical measures vs. perceived gambling severity among youth why adolescent problem gamblers fail to seek treatment
Article Abstract:
Diagnostic and statistical evaluation of adolescent population for gambling severity reveals that between 3.4% and 5.8% of the youth, mean age of 18.6 years, are probable pathological gamblers. However, self evaluaion rating is only 1.1%. Furthermore, the occurrence of problem gamblers and social gamblers among adolescents are 3.3% and 66%, respectively.

Differences between problem and nonproblem gamblers in subjective arousal and affective valence amongst electronic gaming machine players
Article Abstract:
Self-reported changes in arousal and affective valence were examined in 27 problem and 40 non-problem gamblers playing electronic gaming machines (EGM). Problem gamblers reported greater arousal increases after gambling and even increases in negative valence if they lost.
