Behavior analysis and revaluation
Article Abstract:
This study examines the phenomena of revaluation, or the process by which an operant behavior is affected by changes in reinforcer-related associations. Neural network simulations are used to examine these psychological processes from a biobehavioral perspective that includes principles from both experimental behavioral analysis and neuroscience.

A selectionist approach to reinforcement
Article Abstract:
Analyses of behavior and the neurosciences suggest a principle of reinforcement which aids in behavior analytic studies. The results of studies of computer simulated models of neural networks, used to identify the behavioral patterns of a respondent to a stimulus, were found to conform to the preconceived behavioral forms. The characteristics of neural networks are restricted by the experimental observations at the behavioral and the neural levels and, therefore, cannot be considered as representations of conceptual nervous systems.

The S-R issue: its status in behavior analysis and in Donahoe and Palmer's learning and complex behavior
Article Abstract:
Experimental analyses and neuroscience through computer simulation were used to illustrate the focus of an essay on reinforcement. The argument raised dealt mainly on where is the effect of reinforcement best described, as the strengthening of responding or as the strengthening of the environmental control of responding. Skinner's (1950) idea of moment-to-moment analysis of behavior supported the premise that there is no particular environment stimuli where the environment-behavior relations are purely emitted or purely dependent upon.
