The criteria for causation of alcohol in violent injuries based on emergency room data from six countries
Article Abstract:
An analysis was conducted by comparing various measures of alcohol involvement in violent versus accidental injuries to determine whether alcohol is a likely cause of violence. The odd ratios of violent versus accidental injury for a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) over 80 mg% were significant for each country.
