Transnational AIDS-HIV news narratives: a critical exploration of overarching frames
Article Abstract:
This article analyzes the content of AIDS-HIV news coverage internationally during the 1990s. The authors, examining five transnational wire services, assert content in the 90s focused on public policy, human rights themes, and prevention and education, whereas during the 80s the focus was biomedical discourse.
