Traumagenic dynamics in adult women survivors of childhood sexual abuse vs. adolescent male sex offenders with similar histories
Article Abstract:
The traumagenic beliefs of adult women survivors of childhood sexual abuse and teenage male sex offenders are compared. The authors, analyzing the results from a trauma-related beliefs questionnaire, conclude that the male sex offenders hold similar traumagenic beliefs related to trust and betrayal common in females, however, differed from female survivors regarding measures of stigmatization and traumatic sexualization.

A ten-year logitudinal study of adolescent perpetrators of sexual assault against children
Article Abstract:
A study examined the level of risk presented by adolescent perpetrators of sexual assaults on children after their return to the community. Results indicate they are more likely to commit non-sexual that sexual offences.
