When what you type isn't what they read: The perseverance of stereotypes and expectancies over e-mail
Article Abstract:
E-mail is an inherently more limited mode of communication than is voice because of its relative lack of paralinguistic and non-verbal cues. The implication of this distinction for the biasing influence of stereotypes and expectancies is investigated.

Stereotype lift
Article Abstract:
Stereotype lift is defined as a performance boost that occurs when downward comparisons are made with a denigrated outgroup. It is considered that people appear to link negative stereotypes to evaluative tests more or less automatically.

Forgetting by remembering: stereotype inhibition through rehearsal of alternative aspects of identity
Article Abstract:
A research was conducted on retrieval-induced forgetting to the issue of stereotype inhibition. It was concluded that the more strongly participants believed in stereotype, the less inhibition of stereotype-relevant traits they showed.
